below are various video of different animation styles we researched when deciding on the style of animation we wished to incorporate in our short film.
As a group we decided to use the stop-motion technique to carry out our animation.
As we believe to use CGI or Plasticine would be too time consuming and difficult.
The following is are various different hand drawn stop motion videos.
After considering the different styles of this type of animation and the differing level of detail,
we have decided to use a style most similar to Head over Heels as it has a low level of detail
and so would be less time consuming to produce. But also as this section of the short film is
not meant to seem realistic we believe this low level of detail we not be at the detrimental to
the overall quality of our short film, and will add to the effect we hope to achieve via the use of
animation.
